About Us

Welcome to Climate Education Warriors, where our mission is to tackle the climate crisis through education and active engagement. As global temperatures rise and climate patterns shift, we believe it’s time for action—not just talk. Like warriors on the battlefield, we need dedicated teams to confront these challenges head-on. We focus on preparing climate warriors who are informed, motivated, and ready to make a difference.

We are committed to providing schools, colleges, and universities with credible research and resources to enhance climate change education. By training teachers and developing engaging content, we ensure students understand the urgent need for environmental action.

Our goal is to inspire students with stories of successful environmental initiatives and encourage them to take action. We help students understand their role in tackling climate change. By partnering with government and private organizations, we strengthen our impact and drive collective action.

At Climate Education Warriors, we believe everyone has a role in protecting our planet. Whether it’s through education, collaboration, or direct action, we’re here to lead the charge and make a real difference. Join us in our fight for a healthier, greener, and cleaner world.

Dr. Sadia Khalid

Founder

Dr. Sadia Khalid, a dedicated advocate for climate education, completed her PhD in Education from the University of Punjab, specializing in content development and teacher education. Hailing from Lahore, Dr. Sadia began her journey as a social activist seven years ago, working with NGOs on various themes including women empowerment, peace, and climate activism.

In 2020, Dr. Sadia noticed a critical gap in environmental education within our school curriculum. Driven by her passion for sustainable development goals SDG 13 and 15, she took decisive action to address this need. She founded Climate Education Warriors, a women-led initiative aimed at inspiring and educating students about the climate crisis and empowering them to take meaningful actions.

Under her leadership, Climate Education Warriors has launched numerous impactful initiatives. These include international and national webinars, seminars, teacher training sessions, capacity-building workshops, clean-up drives, and waste management workshops. The organization has also facilitated outdoor learning camps in locations such as Kalam, Swat, Kumrat Forest, and Gilgit Baltistan, engaging both students and teachers in hands-on environmental education.
