Dr. Sadia Khalid visited the Livelihood and Skills Development Centre in Muzaffarabad (Helping Hands) . She taught around 60 girls about how important soil is for our lives. She explained that soil gives us food and energy, helps absorb carbon, supports biodiversity, and provides 95% of the world’s food.
The girls brought food waste from their homes to participate in the composting activity. This hands-on experience helped them understand the importance of reducing waste and creating nutrient-rich soil.
